Thursday the girls had a field trip with the Military Home School group to a place called "Wild Things". It was a lot of fun and very educational. Kaitlyn especially enjoyed learning all about the animals. Most of the animals there have been in at least one movie. They own the lion (Josef) that was in "Lion King". He was also in several other movies including Tarzan, George of the Jungle and the Born Free series. They also own two Bengal Tigers (Kolar and Kali). Kolar is the most photographed tiger in the world. If you ever see calendars with tigers, most likely Kolar was in it. They have also been in National Geographic Magazine and in several commercials. I took several pictures but it was hard to get good shots through the cages. After a fun time visiting the animals, we enjoyed our lunch at the park. The girls had fun playing and even talked me into going down the slide a few times. Overall it was a very enjoyable day!!!
