Music, Field Trips and More

Last week was full of fun activity in our household. On Sunday evening the girls had a concert for the music class they take every week. Lauren isn't officially old enough for the classes but since she is always there, she joins right in. The teacher has been so amazed at all the things she has picked up on. Carteena even let her sing with them on one of the songs at the concert. She was so adorable standing up there and seemed to watch the director more than some of the older children.

It was finals week at Naval Postgraduate School and since Paul only had one final this week, he has been home with us enjoying some time off. He and the girls have been playing ball in the cul-de-sac and they are enjoying that so much.

Thursday and Friday were both field trip days. Thursday was a history presentation called "Traveling Across America" and Friday was a glass bottom boat ride out in Monterey Bay. It was such a beautiful day and we really enjoyed our time spent with other homeschooling families. After the boat ride, we spent the rest of our day looking at all the beautiful wildflowers and climbing on the rocks at Lover's Point.
