Today was a very fun but tiring day. The girls had a field trip to the "Young Chef's Academy" to kick off summer vacation. It was a blast for all! Our home school group had two sessions since there were so many of us that signed up. (40 kids) We went in the first group. The kids just loved it!! They got to make banana muffins. They had to do all the measuring, mixing, cleaning up and all that goes along with cooking. After the kids started working with the teachers, the mom's all decided to go have some fun. Some went shopping and some went to a coffee shop. I chose the coffee shop. It was so nice to sit down with the other mom's and just relax and chat. After we picked the kids up, we went to lunch with six of the other families to a place called Fresh Express. It was very yummy. After we had our tummy's full, we had to hurry back to Carmel for music classes. I took a picture of Karissa's class which I will add along with the others.

This is Karissa's music class with teacher Mrs. Karteena. She loves the children and does a wonderful job teaching them about music. It was beautiful today so they had class out in the garden. There were several missing. The group is normally quite a bit larger.

I so enjoyed seeing the pictures and hearing about your latest adventures! Looks SO gorgeous out there! The Chef's Academy looks like lots of fun too! Give your little gals hugs for us!

Academy! Glad your mom-in-law came to visit you all. She's such a special lady. The whales were awesome...if we ever make it out your way, can you guess where we would like to go??? :) Keep enjoying Cal. for us!

That cooking academy sounds cool. There seems to be neat things for your kids to attend.
