It's that time of year again.....school time!! Most of the schools here started the first week of August and some started this week. We normally start after Labor Day but decided to go ahead and start this week, to be more on schedule with all of our friends and fellow homeschoolers. Kaitlyn is in 3rd grade this year and Karissa is in 1st grade. They are both doing A Beka curriculum again this year. We start school everyday at 8 am and try to keep with a set schedule. This helps me to get everything else done during the day as well as fitting in the extra curricular activities the girls are involved in. Both girls have piano lessons every Wednesday and another music class every week. They will also be continuing their swimming lessons throughout this year. Kaitlyn is a very good swimmer. She now swims laps in the big pool in 18 ft. water. She will soon be learning to do the butterfly and learning to dive....I think we have the next Michael Phelps in our family. Ha!!! Karissa is moving right along as well....she started out in a lower level because of her age and still has a ways to go in her classes. Anyway, this is sure to be a busy school year for us but we are very excited about it and are looking forward to all the fun activities and field trips again this year.

Its hard to believe that school is ready to start back up. Connor and Kyra start Monday. The girls look like they are ready though...especially Lauren:)

Where has summer gone? It's so hard to believe it's time for school to start! I hope your girls have a great year as well as you teaching them!!
I love the way you layed out their books to show...good idea! Looks like your on your way for another school year...were excited to be starting this year. We have lots of fun things planned out for our school year and lots to learn!!! :)
p.s. Let us know if Paul gets any other time off for us to come visit...Sept. may not work for us.
The girls have grown up so fast! Cannot wait to see you In december. You are welcome to come stay with us if you like. We have lots of room now. with Lots of Room for the children to play.
Julia is starting preschool September 8th. She's so excited.

SCHOOL How exciting! I always enjoyed school and I think Paul Jr enjoyed it too, so no wonder the girls like school, especially if they have a great school teacher like their Mom. Next month I get to teach a group of 16 young people from Bogota about missions, but it all has to be in Spanish. Fun! Well, girls, Enjoy school and all the fun things your mommy has planned for you.
